So your BombBomb account is all set up, you're ready to start building relationships, but there's only one problem — you don't have any contacts in your account. Let's fix that!
BombBomb offers three different ways to add contacts: adding an individual, adding a contact list, or uploading a .csv file.

Step 1: Log In and Access Contacts
- Log into your account.
- Click on the Contacts tab.
- Click "Add People" to begin adding contacts.
Step 2: Choose Your Adding Method
You have three options for adding contacts:

Add One Person:
- Best for adding a few contacts or filling in personal information for an individual.

Add Many People:
- Suitable for adding a list of 250 or fewer email addresses (note: contact details cannot be imported using this method).

Upload a .csv File:
- Ideal for importing an extensive list of contacts with details.
- Click the "Browse" button to select your .csv file.
- For formatting help, click the link next to the "Browse" button for an example .csv file.
Step 3: Select List and Permission Type
- Choose a list from the dropdown menu to add your contacts.
- Indicate whether you received implied permission or express permission from these contacts regarding their information.
- Click the "Add Contacts" button.
Step 4: Verify Label Associations
- After importing, ensure the labels in your list are correctly associated.
- The system will detect common labels from your .csv file.
- Hover over the labels to confirm they match.
- To change any labels, use the dropdown above the column.
Step 5: Create New Labels (if needed)
- You can create new labels from the dropdown if required, allowing you to add labels after uploading the list.
Step 6: Upload Contacts
- Click the "Upload" button in the middle of the screen.
- A pop-up will confirm that your contacts have been added.
- Click the "Close" button when finished.
Add an Individual Contact
- Click the "Add Individual" tab.
- Enter the contact's name, email address, and select the list they should be added to (note: avoid keeping them in "All Contacts," as this is not an emailable list).
- For more contact details, click the "More Details" button.
Add Multiple Contacts via Copy/Paste
- Click the "Copy/Paste" button to add up to 250 contacts.
- In the empty field, type or paste email addresses, ensuring they are separated by commas, semicolons, or listed one per line.
- Select the appropriate list to add this group of emails.
Step 7: Refresh and Confirm
- Refresh your page to see the updated number of contacts.
- A green confirmation banner will appear at the top of your account, indicating success.
