Recording or uploading videos to your Workspace is the easiest and most common way to catalog your videos. Your Workspace gives you access to all of your content on any device so that you can embed, share, email, and text your videos across all of your favorite platforms.

Recording and saving a new video
Step 1: From any tab in your account click the orange "New Video" button in the top right.
Step 2: Select "Record Yourself" from the drop-down menu.
Step 3: Click the red circle to begin recording a video of yourself, or click the Screen & cam recording icon on the lower left to start recording your screen.
How long can my video be?: Your BombBomb video can be any length of time. The longer the video, the better upload speed you will need on your internet connection. Tip: For longer videos we recommend being directly connected with a hardline into your router.
Step 4: Once you've finished recording, hit the square button.
Step 5: You now have several options prior to saving your video:
- Retitle your video by editing the field under "Video Title."
- Screenshot a new thumbnail by clicking "Thumbnail." (Note: This will override your 3-second animated gif!)
- Re-record your video.
- Playback your video by clicking the Play icon.
- Add a call-to-action link by toggling on CTA.
When you are happy with your video, click "Save," and your video will be saved to your workspace.
Step 6: Once you've saved your video you are taken to the video edit screen where you can add a Call-To-Action, adjust the thumbnail/gif, trim the beginning or end of your video, or add Video Security.
*Most of your videos will not need editing. Don't spend too much time trying to make a video perfect and just trust that you're personality will come through.
Once you're ready, choose the desired delivery option from the orange buttons at the top.
- To text or share on social media: Click "Copy Link" to paste this URL into any social media platform or text message. Or, click the icons for Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn to share the video directly to one of these platforms.
- To share in an email: Click "Copy Link for Email" and paste it into your email body. This will send your video as an animated gif on your email platform.
- To email from BombBomb's Quick Send: Click "Email with BombBomb Template." This will allow you to customize your email template and email directly through BombBomb.
Uploading and saving a video
Step 1: To upload a video, log in to your account and click the orange "New Video" button in the top right.
Step 2: Select "Upload Video" from the drop-down menu. This will open a pop-up box where you can select the video you'd like to upload. BombBomb will begin encoding your video. The encoding process makes copies of your video so that it can be available in various formats (desktop, mobile, text, etc.). Once uploaded, retitle your video, if desired, and click "Save."
File Types and Sizes: Your video files for upload can be up to 2 GB in size. BombBomb accepts mp4, mpg, mov, avi, Flv, Mpeg, WMV, and m4v files. We recommend mp4 for the best quality.
Step 3: Once your video uploads you are taken to the video edit screen where you can add a Call-To-Action, adjust the thumbnail/gif, trim the beginning or end of your video, or add Video Security.
