Recording or Uploading Videos into Your Vist Video Assignments

You’re signed up for Vist and you’re excited about implementing video more with your journeys.  How the heck do you actually do that?  Well, Vist makes it easy to set a video that will automatically be added to your email Journeys.  With Vist you can record a new video or upload a video to your video assignments so we’ll go over both options in this article.

Recording a Video

From your login look for the “Vist Video Assignments” on the left of your screen.

Step 1: Click on your first assignment at the top of the list.

Step 2: You will now see several helpful tools appear on the right side of the screen. Review these so you’re video will deliver the best possible result.

1. A pre-recorded video from your company or your live video camera ready to record
2. Suggested Script: Verbiage provided by your company as a guide of what to say in this video.
3. Example Video: An example that you could model your video after.

Step 3: To record a video, click the red “Record” circle in the video.

Step 4: Once you’ve finished your recording either click the “Stop” button or hit the spacebar on your keyboard to complete the recording.

Step 5: If not locked, make sure you adjust the name of your video to reflect this activity

Pro tip: Remove the date since you’ll use this video for a while.

Step 6: Click the “Save and Continue” button in the top right corner.

This will save your video in this assignment, mark it as LIVE and automatically bump you down to the following assignment.  Continue these steps until you’ve completed all of your video assignments.

Upload a Video or Selecting a Video from your BombBomb Video Library

From your login look for the “Vist Video Assignments” on the left of your screen.

Step 1: Click on your first assignment at the top of the list.

Step 2: Click the “Choose from library” button that lives above your live video or pre-recorded video from your company. 

Step 3: Here you can select the video you want to use for this video assignment.  There are two options:

• If selecting a video that’s already in your BombBomb Video Library then search or scroll down until you find the video, click anywhere on the video banner until the green check mark appears on the left of the video preview, and click “Insert” in the upper right of the pop-up.

• If uploading a video that is currently on your computer, select the “Upload” button in the top right corner of the pop-up.  This will open a screen where you can select the video file from your computer and click “Open.”

Step 4: If not locked, make sure you adjust the name of your video to reflect this activity

*Once you see LIVE please understand that this video is live and will be added to this email the next time is delivered to a client/prospect.
