Creating and editing your email signature

Using variables, BombBomb makes it easy to always have an up-to-date email signature on any of your emails. Watch this video or read the step-by-step instructions below to learn how to create or edit your email signature.

Update Signature information

1. Access Profile Settings:

   • Click your name in the upper right corner of your account.
   • Select "Settings."

Edit Profile Information:

• On the Settings page, click "Edit Profile."
• Update your information in the Basics, Organization, and Social Media tabs as desired.

Creating and Customizing Your Email Signature

1. Open Email for Editing:

   • Go to the Emails tab.
   • Start a new email by clicking "New Email" (select the "Advanced Composer" option) or edit an existing email by clicking "Edit."

Using an Email Template:

• If using a template, it might have a pre-built signature. To choose or change a template, click "Change Template" in the Design tab (left panel) and select the desired template

Modifying Signature Information:

• To delete information or variables, click into the text box and use the backspace or delete key.

Adding Information to Signature:

• Click in the text box to reveal the editing bar.
• Click the dropdown next to "Insert" and select "Variable."

• In the Variable settings (left panel), choose "Profile" from the dropdown under "General."

• Click on the desired information to add it to your signature.

Changing Signature Formatting:

• Use the editing bar above the text box to adjust font, size, bolding, etc.
• Control text color in the "Design" tab (left panel), with options for Body Text, Heading Text, and Links. Highlight text and select the desired style.

Managing Your Profile Photo

1. Broken Image in Signature:

   • A broken image might indicate your profile photo. Ensure your photo is uploaded to your profile; it will appear in the preview or sent email.

Deleting Profile Photo:

• Hover over the photo box.
• Click the Gear icon and select "Delete."

Adding a Profile Photo Manually:

• If not using a template that includes a profile photo, go to the Layout tab.
• Drag and drop the "Media" element to your desired location in the signature.
• Adjust spacing or border by clicking the Gear icon and selecting "Column Settings." Modify padding, margin, or border size as needed.

• In Media Settings (left panel), set Media type to "Image" and upload or select your photo.

• Adjust spacing or border by clicking the Gear icon and selecting "Column Settings." Modify padding, margin, or border size as needed.

• In the left panel, change the padding or margin settings to add space. For example, change them from 0 to 10. Or change the numbers by the border to adjust the size of your photo's border.

Customizing Social Media Icons

1. Editing Social Media Icons in Templates:

   • Click the social media icon box in the email template.
   • Social settings will appear in the left panel. Add or remove icons, change colors/styles, spacing, or size.

Adding Social Media Icons to a Template:

• If the template lacks social media icons, go to the Layout tab.
• Drag and drop the "Social" element to the desired location in the email.

• Social settings will open in the left panel. Add or remove icons and URLs, adjust color/style, spacing, or size.
